This was the first face moisturizer I made and I still love it!  I use it as a facial moisturizer, to sooth cuts, burns and stings, to take off mascara, and to treat eczema.  

A salve facial moisturizer made with some of the finest regenerative and nourishing ingredients including organic Rosehip Seed, Kukui nut, Pomegranate seed, and Tamanu oils, organic Cocoa and Kokum butters, and a blend of organic essential oils (Lavender, Carrot Seed, Niaouli, Cistus, Helichrysum).   

Tamanu oil is a remarkable topical healing agent with skin healing, anti-neuralgic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.  Rosehip seed oil is made up of 77% fatty acids, high in linoleic and linolenic acids, Vitamin C and Vitamin A.  It is said to regenerate skin tissue, eliminate wrinkles, fine lines, scars, sun damage and stretch marks.  Kukui nut oil reduces wrinkles, soothes eczema, reduces inflammation, and is rich in Vitamins A, C and E.  Pomegranate seed oil has anti-aging properties, clears up acne-prone skin, hydrates without creating oiliness, promotes collagen production, and has anti-oxidant properties.  Kokum butter is well known for its ability to regenerate skin cells and ability to fight visible signs of aging. 

The essential oils were chosen for their anti-aging & regenerative properties. Carrot seed oil is extremely healing and rejuvenating; adds tone and elasticity and is high in carotol (healing properties).  Lavender is soothing, healing, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory.  Helichrysum has anti-inflammatory and heals wounds and cuts quickly; very good for scars.  Cistus is known for its wound healing abilities and is effective for chronic conditions such as psoriasis and eczema.  It acts fast to stop bleeding, beneficial for acne and oily skin, good for wrinkles and mature skin.  2oz
